My Everyday Makeup

Hello Everybody, 

Todays post is just a quick insight into my everyday makeup I wear, 

Im a HUGE fan of flicked eyeliner and honestly where it every single day.

Too Faced - Better than sex mascara

MAC - RiRi Woo Lipstick

I will be starting to do tutorials of my makeup and various looks, but first I thought I would show you how/what I usually wear on a day-to-day basis. 

RiRiWoo by MAC is probably my favourite Limited Edition MAC lipstick - ever. 

Its so buildable and the colour is beautiful, but Im over half way and have to use it sparingly, so as a replacement I use MAC RubyWoo, which featured in my last post! They're both very similar as they're matte and both have blue undertones - this creates the illusion of white teeth! the only difference is RubyWoo is a lighter shade of red. 

I love wearing red lipstick when I'm not at work.

 Its the perfect statement, timeless and add heaps of glam to any outfit, which for me - is a must!

I usually pair it with a light brown smoky eye, and a cat flick of eyeliner, as its not too intense and doesn't take all the focus away from the lips (you either want to emphasise one or the other)

Top 3: Lipsticks for Valentines

Welcome back!

As its the day of love tomorrow (Valentines Day) I wanted to share with you my top 3 lipsticks to make those lips of yours even more kissable! 

No.3

So I'm going to start with my third favourite: Kate by Rimmel London Red Nose Red!

The reason why this is in my top 3 is because a little goes a long way, the colour of the lipstick is a really beautiful deep red, it goes with any complexion, its sheer and is very moisturising. I bought this lipstick for £5.49 and what really unique,  £1.67 of the price goes to Comic Relief! So doing 'your bit' for charity while having lovely lips :-) 

About a week ago,  I uploaded a photo of Red Nose Red onto Instagram and it was re-posted on Rimmel official Instagram page and I have had over 2,400 likes!! Here is the pic that they re-posted:

My next red lippy is for all the ladies who prefer a liquid lipstick, rather than an actual lipstick.

Its a Bourjois  Rouge Addition Velvet Lipgloss in colour 03 Hot pepper.

I've been using this product for a few weeks now and have been extremely impressed it the results, its really moisturising and feels really lovely on application. 

I personally have never had a bad experience with the brand Bourjios and they never fail to impress me with their new releases!  

The colour is extremely buildable, it starts off sheer so its fantastic for people just starting out with red lipstick or growing their confidence with it and with the price being at £8.99 you can't go wrong!

Of course, saving the best until last! Its my favourite red lipstick of all time! 

The one I grab when i'm running out the door as I know it'll look amazing, with any outfit, any makeup look and whatever the weather!

MAC cosmetics - Ruby Woo

It's a gorgeous, bright red with blue under-tones giving the illusion of whiter teeth. 

As this lipstick is Matte, meaning its got no shine or 'added moisture' its very important you line your lips and condition them before applying this so it applies smoothly. 

The wonderful thing about matte lipsticks is that they will not budge, whether its having you morning cup of coffee, going for a fancy dinner or having a cheeky valentines kiss, it won't move. 

So, pushing the £15.50 price tag aside, MAC lipsticks are 110% worth every penny and they will forever be on the tip-top of my list.

My name is Fiona, I'm 19 years old and currently taking a gap year.

In September I am going to go and study Film & TV makeup, so I thought it would be a good idea to start frequently blogging about various makeup looks, tips & tricks. I will also be reviewing the latest products and other bits and bobs too! :-)

As Valentines day is just around the corner, I thought it would be a great idea to upload a blog post tomorrow evening reviewing my top 3 red lipsticks!
